At Rabens Saloner, we believe in taking proper care of our textiles in order to extend the life of our designer clothing. That’s why we offer products from trusted brands like Steamery and Studio Care, selected to protect fine fibers such as wool, cashmere, and merino.
Wool combs, lint removers, and fabric sprays gently remove fuzz, lint, and dust while maintaining the fabric’s softness and smooth finish. Lint removers are a sustainable, reusable alternative to disposable rollers, keeping your garments looking fresh and clean.
Fuzz and pilling are natural on knitwear and other natural fibers. They do not indicate wear, but are part of the life of delicate materials. With regular use of a wool comb or lint remover, you can maintain your clothing’s texture and appearance for years.
Our recommended steamers also smooth wrinkles effectively without stressing the fibers, helping your clothes stay in pristine condition.
WASH LESS - WASH SMART
Caring for your clothing isn’t just about the products you use - it’s also about how you wash. Frequent washing can damage fibers and shorten the lifespan of delicate garments. Often, airing clothes is enough to keep them fresh.
When washing is necessary, always follow care instructions and keep temperatures at a maximum of 30°C (86°F) whenever possible. Low-temperature washes save energy, reduce water use, and minimize wear on fabrics. A real win-win.
Many textiles clean effectively at lower temperatures, while high heat can weaken fibers and fade colours. By combining proper washing methods with the right care tools, your clothing stays soft, fresh, and as good as new.
